Mechanical Software Training
What are Mechanical Software used for mechanical engineers?
Some of the software which are a must for a mechanical Engineers are:
Solid Modelling Software: SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD etc.
This helps in giving a real shape to any problem given and puts everything into perspective. This also helps in analyzing the model in a variety of ways using the next set of software I am going to discuss. In addition, with the advent of Rapid Prototyping, models designed properly can be directly printed, giving an instant physical existence to your brainchild. Good hold on this category of software is a huge plus point.
Analysis and Simulation: ANSYS, COMSOL, HyperMesh etc.
After the design, the next step is to analyse the design putting in a number of constraints, boundary conditions and situations and test the design according to the physical demands it needs to fulfill. Features like Static and Dynamic analysis, Thermal analysis etc. can be easily and very accurately done with these highly useful and sophisticated software available.
MATLAB
And finally, this is the single most important software any Mechanical Engineer can learn. No amount of text can overstate its usefulness in a good engineer’s life, let alone a Mechanical one.
